What Chance Of Change Is Enough?

John McCain has voted with George Bush 90 percent of the time. The same study by Congressional Quarterly estimates that Obama voted with Bush during the Bush era 40 percent of the time.

I started this blog because I am scared. Our country is worse off now than it was eight years ago, and I am scared that we are going to elect a Republican ticket that would continue the Bush policies for four more years.

I am scared because people believe McCain/Palin will offer change from the failed policies of the Bush administration. It is simply not true.

Fact: McCain voted with the President 90% of the time. Obama voted with the President 40% of the time. Which one offers change?

As an Alaskan, I am scared because people do not see the striking similarities between Sarah Palin and George W. Bush. Granted, she is much prettier and more eloquent. But that simply distracts people from the fact that her beliefs, policy stances, and credentials are eerily similar to George W. Bush eight years ago.
